Ariel Winter Posts Behind The Scenes Shot With Injured Costar Phil Dunphy—Don’t Worry, It’s Fake
Ariel Winter is hanging with her Modern Family. The actress, 21, posted a snap of her and her cast-mates all grown up next to tv dad, Phil Dunphy, who appeared to have a bloody nose. Not to worry though, it was fake.
Ariel posted the picture of her alongside Nolan Gould and Rico Rodriguez who were all pre-teens when the show started ten years ago. The three are all now 21-years-old. “Don’t’ worry, Ty is OKAY. It’s fake #modernfamily,” Ariel wrote of her TV dad.
The actress stood out in Christmas red with a wrapped top tucked into a pair of dark denim jeans. Meanwhile, Nolan, sported a striped sweater, while Rico fashionably rocked a grey, turtleneck sweater underneath a blazer.
Ariel’s look has changed noticeably throughout the show, but the actress has always stayed committed to her fitness journey. The Phineas and Ferb voice actress was on antidepressants and found it hard to lose weight. However, once she changed her medication she began to see a huge difference.

In an interview with Women’s Health, the actress opened up about her fitness and health journey. “Years ago, it was hard because I’d go to the gym with my trainer and because of my antidepressant medications I never saw results,” Ariel explained.
“I didn’t change my antidepressants because I wanted to lose weight, I’d just accepted it and it was fine. I got inspired to actually find a medication that helped me as a person and did all the things I wanted it to do,” the actress said.
“When I changed meds and started feeling better about myself mentally, losing weight was helpful because it made me feel like I wasn’t just stuck,” Ariel continued, noting, “I hate being stuck anywhere in life.”
Modern Family aired its first episode in September 2009 and has since won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series. The show was reportedly set to wrap after its tenth season but was extended to an eleventh season. The cast includes Sofia Vergara, Sarah Hyland, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler, Eric Stonestreet, and many more. The last episode of the ABC comedy will reportedly air sometime in the spring of 2020.
