Ashley Graham Breaks Down Over Pregnancy Stretch Marks Photo
Ashley Graham is getting real about the tough sides of pregnancy. On an upcoming episode of her digital series, Fearless With Ashley Graham, the supermodel, 32, recalled the whirlwind of emotions she experienced after posting the vulnerable picture of her stretch marks to social media.
Ashley sat down with Taylor Hoit where they both spoke about the difficulties of accepting changes in their bodies. The America’s Next Top Model judge revealed that she discovered Taylor, who is a mother of four, after she posted a powerful postpartum body message to Instagram.
“I actually first discovered you when you posted a photo of yourself on Instagram,” Ashley said to Taylor. “This body has grown four children,” Taylor wrote as her caption. “This same body gave birth to two of those children 10 weeks ago and somehow I find myself struggling to accept this body as if it didn’t just give birth.”
Despite the positivity behind the post, Taylor admitted that she thought about deleting the picture until Ashley liked it. Ashley revealed that she had been struggling with her new body at the time as well.

“It’s interesting that you say that because the reason why I had posted that original photo, I had just announced that I was pregnant and I thought then I was going to feel good and I didn’t. I just felt terrible. And that morning, actually,” Ashley said before she began crying. “That morning, I was like, ‘Get it together, Ashley, there’s other women out there that are going through the same thing as you — why don’t you have a dialogue?’”
Ashley admitted that getting accustomed to her new body made her feel “so isolated” and “so alone.” She also noted that pregnancy has meant having to “come into this new world of body confidence.”
On Thursday, November 7, Ashley accidentally revealed that she is having a baby boy with her husband Justin Ervin while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. During a rapid-fire round of questions, Ashley let the cat out of the bag. “A boy,” Ashley said. “Yeah! I’m having a boy! I’m gonna be a mommy to a boy!”
