Ashley Tisdale Continues To Mourn Late Dog Maui With Emotional Tribute
Ashley Tisdale shared a heartbreaking message to her late dog Maui. The actress paid tribute to her teacup maltipoo earlier this week with a few sweet words.
"She was here. She was real. And she took a piece of me with her," the 34-year-old wrote next to an Instagram clip of Maui riding in a car.
"It’s the longest I’ve ever been without seeing her face, I miss you everyday Maui.❤️," the Disney Channel alum continued.
Her dog sadly passed away on June 21. The High School Musical star announced the news in a lengthy and tear-inducing post.

"I don’t even know how to say this. This pain is the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Maui was my soulmate, the connection was unlike any other. She didn’t care who I was and what I did, she just loved me unconditionally...She had the purest soul," the "Headstrong" singer said.
She continued, "I know dogs don’t live as long as we do but why not? I wanted more time with her. I wasn’t ready for this and now I’m broken. I will miss you every single day of my life Maui, I will never forget how much joy and love you brought to me."
Ashley also paid tribute to her late pup with a tattoo of a paw and "Maui" inked on her arm. "Now Maui is always with us," she wrote alongside a photo of her new ink.
