Ashley Tisdale does not look back fondly on the day she locked lips with Zac Efron. The actress confessed that her worst onscreen kiss was with her fellow High School Musical alum. Ashley, 34, puckered up to Zac, 32, during an episode of the Disney Channel show, The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody.
“I’ll tell you why it was the worst, OK?” Ashley told ELLE magazine in a video interview. “It’s the worst because I’m so close to him and he’s like my brother. At the time, he was used to acting on, like, Warner Bros, which is The CW, and we were on Disney Channel,” she said.
At the time, the Baywatch star and Merry Happy Whatever actress had already filmed High School Musical together. In a 2006 episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Zac was a guest star, where his character Trevor, kissed Ashley’s Maddie.
“And so he, like, he tried kissing me with his tongue, and I was like, ‘Get away from me!’ I, like, closed my mouth so fast. I was like, ‘This is Disney Channel! We don’t kiss like that on Disney Channel!’”
"It’s just weird when you’re so close to somebody. We had already done High School Musical. I had known him for years before. That is why it was the worst. It’s just that we’re just too close.” The two went onto costar in High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

The Carol’s Second Act star also spoke about which Sprouse twin she would bring along to a deserted island. Ashley costarred on Suite Life with Dylan and Cole. “You know, they’re both like my little brothers,” she told ELLE. “You know who texts me back all the time? Is Dylan Sprouse. He’s the one who texts me back. Cole, sometimes silence, so I’m taking Dylan. That’s for just ghosting on me, Cole,” Ashely quipped.
Even though she’d rather bring, Dylan, 27, Ashley recently confessed that she’d have sex with the Riverdale star. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Ashley was asked by a fan who she’d shag, marry and kill between the twins and Zac.
The Headstrong hitmaker admitted she would shag Cole, marry Dylan, and, through some nervous laughter, kill Zac.
