Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis's love story is epic. They met years ago when starring as a couple in That '70s Show, and reconnected more than six years after the series ended. Kutcher recently got emotional during his acceptance speech for the Robert D. Ray Pillar of Character Award, given to "individuals who demonstrate good character as a role model," according to Us Weekly. He paid a heartwarming tribute to Kunis and their adorable kids, 2-year-old Wyatt, and 4-month-old Dimitri.
Kutcher might not seem like the kind of guy to win an award for good character. The actor joked in his speech that he's probably the first recipient "who had a deferred judgment for a felony burglary for trying to break into his high school," and was "pulled over by a state trooper while tripping on mushrooms."

He dedicated the award to his friends and family, including Kunis, who he said, "kicks my ass on character every day." The happy couple has always been obviously head-over-heels for each other, but Kutcher's speech gave us a more personal look inside their marriage.
Kunis won't let Kutcher get away with being a lazy parent. "This morning, I woke up and she kicked my ass on character," he said. "I thought I was awesome because I got up early and helped with the kids before she woke up and I let her sleep a little bit and then she's like, 'Well, now you're gonna act tired? I do it every day.' But it was a character moment, right? Because she's right!"
The Ranch star even talked about his ex-wife Demi Moore. "I had the great fortune of getting a divorce because I felt the impact of it and I felt how much loss is in there and how much love is in there and that it's not neat or clean or messy," he said. "And I understood, finally, my parents' divorce in a whole different way."
