‘Bachelor’ Star Peter Weber Wants People To Stop Talking About The 'Windmill' Date

Peter Weber does not want his sex life to define him, especially with the premiere of The Bachelor right around the corner. The reality star recently spoke about the fantasy suite date he had in the 15th season of the Bachelorette, where he and Hannah Brown had sex four times in a windmill. Peter, 28, is ready for fans to focus more on his upcoming season.
“A whole part of my life has just been blown up in the public,” Pilot Pete told People, referring to the After the Final Rose taping in July 2019. It was then that former Bachelorette Hannah, 25, revealed that they had sex four times in a windmill while on a date in Greece. “My private life is my private life is my private life and I don’t like that it defines me.”
He continued, “I understand that it came out… And I know people have had fun with it and I guess it’s a good thing that I’ve been laid-back and easygoing about it. But there’s so much more to me than just a windmill. And I’m ready for that to be left in the past.”
Since the reality star was left brokenhearted when he wasn’t chosen by Hannah, Peter hopes to find love with one of the contestants. “Out of respect for hopefully my future wife that I want to find, we just need to move on,” he said.

The commercial airline pilot also said he was “pleasantly surprised” how quickly feelings developed with the Bachelor contestants. “You can’t fake chemistry. I definitely felt an initial spark right off the bat. There were for sure a couple women that I felt really strongly for.” On December 16, the list of the 30 ladies who competed for Pete’s love was revealed.
Pete added that there will be no “shortage of emotion” during the 24th season. “The experience was beautiful, but it was hard too. I don’t think I truly understood how difficult it would be to date that many women. But I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I’m never going to change.”
When it came to approaching the unique experience that the Bachelor offered, Pete went in “hoping for the best.” “And where I am now, I couldn’t be happier,” he added.
The 24th season of The Bachelor is set to premiere on January 6 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
