As OK! readers know, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine haven’t exactly been on the best of terms. Their friendly competition on The Voice has often turned into savage disses, like the time Adam heartily laughed at Blake when a contestant called him a “cool dad.” But on this week’s episode, the two might have finally buried the hatchet. Read on for the latest.
It all started when contestant Kirk Jay wowed both Blake and Adam on the hit singing competition series, so much so that both musicians spun around in their chairs trying to lure him to their teams.
Whenever this happened in the past, Blake and Adam would immediately start lashing out at each other in order to win over the attention of the contestant. But none of that happened this time.
In fact, Adam noted that Kirk, who’s passionate about country music, would actually make a great asset for Blake’s team. “It was like CeeLo Green and Blake made a country baby,” he said.

Blake humbly agreed, hilariously telling Kirk, “Good to finally meet you, son. We look just alike.”
Blake was so taken by Adam’s surprising generosity that he told him, “You deserve a kiss for that,” and he actually got up and planted a big wet one on Adam’s face!
