Since Bobbi Kristina Brown’s hospitalization on Jan. 31 after being discovered unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home, numerous questions have been raised about the circumstances surrounding the incident. However, more answers about the situation may soon be revealed since Roswell, Gerogia, police have confirmed they have launched a “criminal investigation” into the situation. Following the announcement of authorities’ look into Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization, here is what we know so far about the investigation.
In a press release on Wednesday, the Roswell Police Department said that the investigation into the incident was always considered “criminal.” "The incident has always been under criminal investigation and has not been reclassified as a criminal investigation," police said. "Criminal investigations may or may not result in criminal charges being brought against individuals."
Police added that they are “still on the scene” of the incident. And a family source told People that all angles are being considered in the case. "Foul play is being investigated, including drug use and possibly cover-up to remove evidence from the crime scene," the insider said.
Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, confirmed the criminal investigation in a statement he released on Monday. "This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence,” he said, asking that his family be given “privacy in this matter.”

There may have also been an issue of some type at Bobbi Kristina’s home just a week before she was found in her bathtub unconscious. Rick Gilbert from Ellard Securities called 911 on Jan. 23 to report a possible disturbance at the address of the townhouse she shared with her husband, Nick Gordon, reports E! News. "Just had a neighbor call and report saying people were hitting each other and swinging outside in front of the townhomes in Ellard Village," said Gilbert in the 911 call released on Tuesday.

In the call, Gilbert said that he didn’t know the name or have any descriptions of the people involved in the altercation. The dispatcher then instructed him to contact the neighbor and have that person call 911 on their own since Gilbert had no specific details about the individuals involved.
Reports also surfaced this week that police are investigating if Gordon had any role in the incident after he and a friend discovered the 21-year-old in the tub. However, as of now, authorities have not confirmed if they are investigating Gordon or not. And at a vigil held for Bobbi Kristina on Monday, her uncle Tommy Brown declined to comment when asked if police were questioning Gordon.
