Tyler Perry provided an update on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s medical crisis on Friday morning in a lengthy rant he posted on his Facebook page, saying that the 22-year-old is still alive.

In the post, Perry said that his thoughts about Bobbi Kristina’s mother, Whitney Houston, lead him to express his take on the buzz surrounding Bobby Kristina’s current condition. "This morning I woke up with Whitney on my mind," Perry wrote. "I couldn’t help but think about all that she must have dreamed for her child. I know this was not her dream…"

After two hearses were spotted outside Bobbi Kristina’s Georgia hospice center late this week, many began to question if she was in her final days.

However, Perry said that at the moment, Bobbi Kristina is still alive. He added that the Houstons and Browns would offer new updates on her situation when necessary.

Perry is a close family friend of the Houstons and Browns and has visited Bobbi Kristina several times since her relocation to the hospice center in June.
