It was just back in June when Bode Miller and wife Morgan Beck’s one-year-old daughter Emeline drowned and they’ve been reeling over the loss ever since. But on Sunday, Morgan began to look up as she shared the ultrasound of her forthcoming baby boy. Read on for the latest.
Ever since Emeline passed away, both Morgan and Bode have been trying to pick up the pieces of their lives as they’ve also warned parents on the dangers of toddler drownings.
But over the weekend, on what would have been Emeline’s second birthday, Morgan reluctantly decided to re-focus her energy on the life growing in her belly—her and the Olympic skier’s baby boy.
She shared a 3D ultrasound image alongside a crushing caption about little Emeline’s spirit protecting him. “I saw my sweet baby’s face. He looked so much like my other babies—just like Bode with that sweet nose and those full lips,” she wrote.

“But as quickly as I saw this new baby, my eyes moved to the angel lying to the right of his face holding him, arms around his neck. It was almost to say, ‘It’s okay. I’m here. It’s going to be okay. I love you.” I hold onto this picture as a clear sign that my son knows his sister and that my baby girl Emmy is still with us. Now that our sweet baby boy is here earth side, he now holds her,” she concluded.
The mom also shared an adorable pic of Emeline making a face while holding on to her sippy cup on Monday. She captioned it, “Happy Birthday my baby girl. I love you to the heavens and back.”
