Britney Spears is just trying to move forward. After being released from a wellness facility in late April, the "Pretty Girls" singer is requesting a temporary restraining order against her ex-manager Sam Lufti.
The 37-year-old is claiming that her former manager harassed her and her mother, Lynne Spears, just days after she checked out of the health center.
According to reports, Britney's lawyer filed for a temporary restraining order on Tuesday, May 7, in Los Angeles.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, they alleged that Sam has been sending threatening texts and tweets to Britney and her family. She claims that Sam's actions have caused “severe mental trauma.”

Britney's defense team believes that Sam is trying to rattle her conservatorship through calls for “vigilante action, bribes and release of private information.”
They also claim his actions are an issue for Britney’s safety and health. Her legal team is attempting to keep Sam away to “prevent future harm and further psychological trauma.”
Despite Britney’s 30-day treatment in April, her mother still doesn't believe she is in good shape after leaving the mental wellness center.
