Britney Spears was unrecognizable as she showed off her toned physique and brunette hair on vacation. This Hawaiian getaway comes less than two weeks after major family drama. Britney’s ex-husband and the father of her children Kevin Federline filed a restraining order against the popstar’s father Jamie Spears, which led to him temporarily stepping down from his conservatorship.
On September 12, the “Stronger” songstress modeled several dresses in an Instagram clip that she captioned, “so much fun in Maui…had to put my heels on with my bathing suit!”
In the first part of the video, Britney, 37, wore a red and black bikini with heels and a large wide-brimmed white hat. She then changed into a black minidress with the same heels and hat.
The “Circus” singer shared another video that featured her in three different dresses. “Walking on vacation,” she captioned the clip from September 12, adding hat, bikini and dress emojis.
All her vacation pictures featured her darker ‘do. Britney debuted her brunette hair on August 30 while out in West Hollywood with boyfriend Sam Asghari.

This escape from reality comes after a tumultuous couple of weeks for Britney. In late August, Kevin, 41, filed a police report and was granted a restraining order against Jamie, 61. When allegations surfaced that Jamie assaulted Britney and Kevin’s 13-year-old son Sean, the grandfather temporarily stepped down from his conservatorship, which caused the “Toxic” singer months of stress.
In the meantime, Britney’s longtime ‘care manager’ Jodi Montgomery has stepped in as her conservator. “Montgomery shall have the power to communicate with treating and other expert medical personnel regarding Britney, and to have access to any and all records regarding Britney’s medical treatment, diagnosis and testing,” the court documents state.
Britney and Kevin also changed their custody agreement on September 3. It stated that Kevin gets their sons for 70 percent of the time, while Britney gets them for the remaining 30. It appears that Britney’s trip was a much-needed break.
