Brody Jenner is being slammed online by fans after repeatedly referring to father Caitlyn Jenner as "he" on the premiere episode of The Hills: New Beginnings. The reality star didn't use the proper pronouns while discussing his dad's gender transition and people were quick to diss him.
Brody, 35, made the mistake while discussing Caitlyn's choice to choose the same female name as his wife, Kaitlynn Carter.
"My dad, he also became a woman — don’t want to forget about that one. I had been dating Kaitlynn Carter for four and a half years, and my dad came out and said that he wanted to be called Caitlyn. Two Caitlyns. Look man, it’s a wild world we live in out there, you know," he told castmate Frankie Delgado in one scene.
Fans and the LGBTQ community couldn't let the oversight slide and roasted the Malibu native on social media.

"Brody Jenner remains a pile of trash + seems to really enjoy purposely misgendering Caitlyn Jenner," one user wrote on Twitter. "The Hills reboot has delivered everything and more: Whitney reaction shots, Audrina staring blankly, so many f**king crystals, Brody being a t**l and misgendering Caitlyn," wrote another.
Brody's half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner both refer to Caitlyn as a "she," but got permission from the I Am Cait star to continue calling her their "dad."
Brody and Caitlyn's strained relationship has been extensively documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Caitlyn skipped Brody's wedding in Bali in 2018 to attend an event in Vienna, Austria.
