Caitlyn Jenner is no longer prioritizing love. The former Olympian recently admitted that she “doesn't see herself having a relationship with anybody in the future.” Caitlyn, 70, also confirmed that she and Sophia Hutchins are not romantically involved, despite referring to each other as “partners.”
“I'm very fortunate to have a great friend in Sophia,” Caitlyn confessed to the UK publication OK!. “We have a wonderful life and we do everything together. Everybody needs those people in their lives. She has her life and I have mine. We live here and we support each other. It's a great friendship.”
The reality star added, “To be honest with you, I don't see myself having a relationship with anybody in the future. It's not what I'm looking for. I've got so many other things in my life. On a scale of one to 10, that's a one. I've been married three times. I've been down that road. I'm 70 years old, I want to enjoy my life and I have great friends. I don't even think about it.”
The former Olympian was previously married to Chrystie Scott from 1972 to 1981, Linda Thompson from 1981 to 1986, and Kris Jenner from 1991 to 2014.
The Secrets of My Life author’s candid interview came weeks after Sophia revealed to the New York Times that she and Caitlyn “were never romantically involved.” The Pepperdine University alum added that she didn’t feel a need to address her sex life unless she wanted to. Although Sophia and Caitlyn are not dating, the 23-year-old did reveal that she was seeing a 30-year-old Harvard graduate who works on Wall Street.
Regarding her relationship with Sophia, Caitlyn said in a statement that she values their friendship. “Over the last few years, Sophia has been my best friend, family and confidant,” she gushed. “She is one of the top minds in her field. Her value in my life is undeniable. The sky is the limit with her entrepreneurial spirit.”
Caitlyn and Sophia reportedly met in 2015 through a makeup artist, and clicked when they found they had a “similar sense of humor.” The friends have been living together in Malibu since 2017.
