Cardi B clearly still has a bone to pick with Nicki Minaj. After their New York Fashion Week brawl last week, you’d think maybe she already said everything she had to say. But no, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper was back on Instagram blasting the “Bang Bang” rapper after she accused her of paying for radio play. Read on for the latest.
Just a few days after their shocking altercation at NYFW, when Cardi B accused Nicki of trying to stomp all over her fame and money, Nicki went on her “Queen Radio” show to clap back at Cardi for jumping in her face at the major fashion event. “I didn’t stop anyone’s bags. She had to say that because she has built her career of sympathy and payola.”
Cardi B was not going to let her nemesis say that without a response, so she took to Instagram to show proof that her fans’ love for her for real, without payola. First, she posted a pic of her album “Invasion of Privacy” making it to the #3 spot on the charts.
She captioned it, “NUMBERS DONT F—IN’ LIE.” Shots fired!

To really drive the point home, the 25-year-old posted a 2016 video of her in concert right at the start of her career—swarmed by a massive audience.
She wrote, “7/29/2016! NO LABEL, NO RADIO PLAY, FRESH OUT OF ‘LOVE AND HIP HOP,’ ONLY 200K IN MY BANK ACCOUNT, MY FIRST TOUR!!!
