Cardi B Finally Appears In Court After Being Threatened With Arrest
Dec. 8 2018, Updated 12:22 a.m. ET
Cardi B has been nominated for 5 Grammys and she’s not going to let anything get her down — not even her recent court date. After being threatened with jail time, the “Money” rapper appeared in front of a judge today, December 7, to face assault and reckless endangerment charges stemming from a strip club brawl back in August.
Allegedly, the Bronx native attacked two women, Baddie Gi and Jade of Angel’s Strip Club, because she believed her estranged husband Offset had an affair with one of them.
According to CNN, Cardi allegedly “threw chairs, bottles and hookahs in the club at 3 a.m.”
This morning’s hearing resulted in the judge issuing orders of protection for the alleged victims. According reports, the 26-year-old isn’t allowed contact with either woman. She isn’t even allowed to reach out to the pair via social media.

Cardi has to appear in court once again on January 31.
She was previously scheduled to appear in court on Monday. However, her legal team allegedly informed the judge that she had a last minute obligation. The judge then informed the lawyers that if she was a no-show once again, a warrant would be issued for her arrest.
