Carrie Underwood Is 'Overjoyed' With Her 'Miracle' Baby's Birth After Having 3 Miscarriages

After struggling to have another baby for two years, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, welcomed their second little boy, Jacob, into the world on Monday, January 21. Scroll through to get all the details on their miracle baby!
The country star and former NHL player, who already share a son, Isaiah, 3, announced the news on Wednesday, January 23.
After sharing that she was pregnant with her second child in August 2018, the "Cry Pretty" singer opened up about having three miscarriages in two years — making the birth of her baby boy that much more special.
“They are just so beyond overjoyed with their healthy baby,” an insider told People. “It has been a rough few years with the miscarriages and the accident and they didn’t even know if they’d get to this point.”

“They’re feeling truly blessed,” the source added. Not too long after Carrie made the official birth announcement on social media, Mike posted his own reflection on their journey on his Instagram.
"Jacob Bryan Fisher! You are a gift from our Lord! The last few years has had its challenges and it makes this moment even more sweet!" he wrote. "We didn’t know if Isaiah would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect! He is good all the time even in the difficult times that are hard to understand. #grateful #miraclebaby."
