Carrie Underwood has been slowly returning to the spotlight! After a horrifying fall down the stairs resulted in “The Champion” singer needing 40-50 stitches on her face in November, Carrie refrained from public appearances or posting pics on social media. However, for the second time in a week, the country superstar has shared a pic showing off her face, and it’s safe to say she’s looking as amazing as ever!
Carrie shared the new album art for her latest single, “Cry Pretty,” on Instagram. In the pic, almost all of Carrie’s face is on display as she cries glitter-colored tears from her eyes.
Fans were quick to tell Carrie, who feared she “might look a bit different” after the accident, she looked “like the same old beautiful Carrie!” “She still looks gorgeous. Maybe even more beautiful,” commented another fan.
In a letter to fans at the end of last year, Carrie wrote, “When I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different. I’m hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal, but again, I just don’t know how it’s all going to end up.”

Last week, Carrie posted a black and white picture showing off her profile as she worked in the recording studio. She looked so good, some fans even doubted if she fell at all! “Where is the scar?? 40-50 stitches would leave a scar. I call BS,” one fan wrote, while another clapped back, “Have you ever heard of makeup?”
On Tuesday, Carrie took to her blog to update fans on her condition and shared that her wrist, which she broke in the fall, is “90%” back to normal. She also described her new song as “emotional” and “real,” and revealed she’ll be performing it live on the ACM Awards this weekend.
