While we’re still awaiting the debut of the cover art for Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell’s book, Conquering Chaos, we have some good news—the book has an official release date and a premise!

Via a press release from the book’s publishing house, Post Hill Press, we learned that the book will of course go into detail on the couple’s unplanned pregnancy and adoption, but will also discuss the couple’s “wild behavior” before MTV cameras were there to capture their lives. Let’s not forget that Cate and Ty started dating when they were in 7th grade!

We didn’t see much of the couple’s “wild behavior” on-screen, since it was really their parents who were the troubled ones on the show. Conquering Chaos will talk about Catelynn and Tyler’s lives with addict parents, April and Butch, and how they overcame the trailer park life to become a loving, mature couple ready for parenthood. Plus, the book will detail "what really happened when the cameras weren’t there.” Juicy!
Of course, though, the most unique part of Catelynn and Tyler’s story is the fact that they placed their first daughter, Carly, for adoption on 16 & Pregnant, so don’t think the book will glaze over that part of their lives. The release adds that the book will talk about their “experiences learning and teaching about adoption,” too.
The book, out March 3, 2015, will be told in Catelynn and Tyler’s own words!
