Last week when Pauley Perrette claimed in a series of tweets that she left NCIS after “multiple physical assaults,” she ignited a major conversation between her followers who wanted to know more about what allegedly happened and what was done about it. CBS, the network that produces the hit series, has now responded to her allegations. Read on to see what they stated.
As reported by The Wrap, CBS released a statement that began as follows, “Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her.”
Then the network acknowledged that the actress had come to them previously about the matter, stating, “Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows.”
Pauley seemed satisfied with the response, tweeting, “I want to thank my studio and network CBS. They have always been so good to me and always had my back.”

Amid her previous tweets that sparked this public discourse, Pauley did seem to have a good relationship with the team otherwise, specifically writing that she had wanted to “protect my crew” in the midst of telling her story.
Pauley’s claims, and CBS’s subsequent response, came in the midst of the #MeToo movement and just weeks after Bill Cosby was found guilty of sexual assault.
