Sleek and Shiny

Celebrity Hairstylist Laini Reeves created Amy Adams' red-carpet-ready 'do through the following steps:

1. To begin, Laini applied Luxurious Volume Volume Building Mousse throughout Amy’s wet hair for added texture and used a paddle brush to blow-dry Amy’s hair straight from root to tip.

2. Next, Laini gave Amy a low side-part and tucked the remainder of her hair on the left side gently behind the ear. Then, to prep the hair for the flat iron, Laini applied a dime-sized amount of Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection Formula Hair Serum throughout to protect Amy’s hair from the heat of the iron as well as guarantee smooth, frizz-free locks.

3. After flat-ironing her strands straight, Laini sprayed Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hairspray. For a flawless finish, Laini also spritzed hairspray into her palm and used her fingers to apply the spray onto the front of the hairline and the part to curb away any fly-aways.

Rock 'n' Roll Chic

"Evangeline Lilly's hairstyle is perfect for a holiday party because it’s different than the typical updo, filled with curls," says Graziella Lembo, Senior Stylist at SalonCapri in Boston. "It's super-chic, but has an edge and having your hair pulled back allows the eye to be drawn upwards towards the neck and face. Plus, it highlights the front of your dress—double the benefit!”

Get Her Look:

“The key to achieving this style is to take the whole top section of the hair and back-comb (tease) it at the crown, then let it fall where it wants to and give it a quick spritz of hairspray for hold," says Lembo. "Letting it fall, as opposed to strategically positioning it, gives it that un-kempt look.”

Longer Pixie

Kyle White, Celebrity Colorist at the Oscar Blandi Salon in NYC, is loving Jennifer Lawrence's new cut and color this season. "It's perfect for the holidays because the shorter look is on-trend and it has great versatility to switch up the style for all your different events. I love Jennifer as a blonde in comparison to her darker, Hunger Games locks—the softer look feels bright and the lighter hue complements her eye color and skin tone perfectly," says White.
