The singer’s husband of 22 years wore a black suit and glasses for the memorial, but the casket was closed for the private funeral on Jan. 22.
René Angélil died on Jan. 14 after a battle with throat cancer for more than 15 years. Angélil was Dion’s manager and mentor and they have three children together–René-Charles, 14, and 5-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy. René is also survived by children from a previous relationship, Anne-Marie, Patrick and Jean-Pierre.
At his memorial service on Jan. 21, Dion thanked fans, friends and family for their support during the difficult time. "The support we've received has been such a blessing," she told People at the wake.
