Congratulations are in order for new mom Chanel Iman and her husband, Sterling Shepard. The pair welcomed a baby girl, Cali Clay Shepard, on Friday, August 10. Keep reading for all the details on her arrival.
The model first announced the news over on a Instagram. She posted a sweet picture of the family together on the hospital bed. You were worth every push every contraction! Welcome to our world @caliclayshepard ❤️ Love mommy and daddy @sterl_shep3,” she wrote.
The NFL player posted the same picture on his account and added his own caption. “Everything I do is for you two. My world!,” it read.
It seems as though little Cali might already be following in the steps of her supermodel mama. At only a few days old, she already has her very own Instagram handle!
Chanel confirmed her pregnancy back in May, two months after she and Sterling tied knot in Beverly Hills.
Months back, the 27-year-old told People that she was “super anxious to meet her baby,” before adding that “the first term actually was very difficult.” She admitted that she was “super sick.”
