Channing Tatum Teases 'Magic Mike' Broadway Musical Debut!

Channing Tatum knows how to get everyone's attention — tease them with anything Magic Mike related! The star of the franchise announced some very exciting details about the movie's big Broadway debut.
Channing announced Magic Mike is taking center stage on Instagram.
The 38-year-old shared a picture of a playbill with dollar bills sticking out of it. "This. Is. Happening. Get ready for Magic Mike… THE BROADWAY MUSICAL. World premiere at the @EmersonColonial Theatre in Boston this November. Tickets on sale TODAY. @magicmikebway #MagicMikeBway," he wrote.
The actor, who will serve as one of the musical's producers said, "I couldn’t be more excited about the next chapter in the Magic Mike story." It's unclear if he'll "wear his thong again" and star in the project too.

According to Deadline, Magic Mike The Musical will have a different plot from the show that ran in London and Vegas. The upcoming show will run in Boston starting in November 2019 until January 5, 2020.
The outlet says this version will be more of a prequel to the two big screen versions Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL. It will show what drove Mike Lane to take on his role as a dancer and how he tried hiding his night time job from his father and girlfriend.
