Chris Brown and his part-time girlfriend Karrueche Tran were swaddled in pounds of fur as they sat front row at Michael Costello’s New York Fashion Week show on Tuesday night. But their fuzzy chic looks were so last season — at least according to PETA.
Tran showed off her and her bae’s new outerwear in an Instagram picture from the show.
But the animal rights organization later blasted the couple for their coordinated fur coats at the show.
“There are few things more out of touch than draping yourself in the skins of animals who were beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for their fur,” PETA said in a statement.

PETA continued, “Pink’s New York Fashion Week PETA billboard shows that true beauty comes from kindness — Chris Brown’s furs are just more of the same from him: ugly violence.”

Breezy and K weren’t the only celebs to wear a furry coat during New York Fashion Week. It also isn't known if their coats were faux or real fur. But regardless of these facts, their dramatic, Chubaka-inspired getups were impossible for PETA to ignore!
