Too little, too late? Maybe for Chris Martin! The singer started to rethink his breakup with actress Jennifer Lawrence after they both spent quality time together in New York City.

Chris, 38, found himself staying at the same NYC hotel as JLaw, 25, and the exes wound up having a catch-up convo!

A source told OK! that, “Seeing Jen made Chris realize he’s made a huge mistake ending it with her. He basically groveled for another chance.”

Even though both parties have been linked to other love interests, “Chris is kicking himself for being so flaky and noncommittal back when he and Jennifer were together,” said the insider.

Chris might be ready to pick up where they left off but Jen is now guarded—“She’d given her heart to Chris and was crushed when they decided to be just friends. She realizes it’s best to move on and not look back.”
