Chrissy Metz Is Pretty In Pink After Announcing Upcoming Country Music Album
Chrissy Metz is undertaking a new challenge! On, Tuesday, July 16, the This Is Us star was photographed in New York City after attending The Wendy Williams Show. Her appearance on the long-running talk show came after she announced she will be releasing a country music album.
Chrissy, 38, stepped out in a look perfect for the sweltering NYC temperatures. She wore a bright pink floral print mini dress.
Her hair was curled and she accessorized with a red clutch and pointed green flats.
Earlier that day, Chrissy confirmed that she would be making her country music debut. “I have been writing for the past year,” she told Access.

“Whenever I have time I go to Nashville and have been doing some songwriting,” Chrissy said before adding, “Yeah, I think an album’s coming.”
The Florida native also opened about the musicians who inspire her. “Currently, Chris Stapleton, I’m obsessed with,” she gushed. “Sara Bareilles, I love her new album. Bonnie Raitt, classically she’s just ridiculous. But, yeah, it’s so hard because there’s so many amazing artists, it’s hard to pick one.”
Chrissy Metz wowed audiences back in April when she performed during the 2019 ACM Awards show. She sang "I'm Standing With You,” a song from the faith-based movie Breakthrough.
