Chrissy Teigen Reveals Son Miles Needs To Wear A Helmet To Fix His 'Misshapen' Head

On Monday morning, Chrissy Teigen revealed that her 6-month-old son, Miles would be getting fitted for a special little helmet for his "slightly misshapen" head. Scroll through to see what she said and why her son, who she shares with her husband, John Legend, needs the treatment.
His condition is known as Plagiocephaly which happens when one of the soft skull plates on a baby’s head flatten, according to Healthline. Plagiocephaly is also sometimes called Flat Head Syndrome but the condition does not pose any danger to the baby and is often caused by staying in one position, such as lying on their backs.
To avoid confusion Chrissy shared some information on her son's condition in a tweet. "Baby Miles getting fitted for a little helmet today for his adorable slightly misshapen head," she said. "So if you see pictures, don't feel bad for him because he's just fixing his flat and honestly he's probably gonna be even cuter with it somehow."
After the baby boy's fitting, the supermodel shared a couple of photos of him in his tiny new helmet. "GUYS," she gushed.
