Those close to Christina Aguilera are concerned about her relationship with fiancé Matt Rutler, as they fear she has given him too much control over her finances!

The singer, who is worth an estimated $130 million, is known for her songs which promote female empowerment, but lately, she’s been handing the reins over to her man!

“It’s odd for Christina, but over the years, she’s handed over a lot of financial responsibility to Matthew,” an insider tells Star magazine. And that is even more odd considering they have no concrete plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon, though they got engaged last year.

“Our love is secure enough that we don't need a wedding to prove our love and commitment, Christina admitted earlier this year. So now, Matt has control over her money but there is no guarantee that they will ever become husband and wife.
