Ciara & Russell Wilson Pay Homage To Beyonce & Jay-Z With Their Halloween Costumes
For Halloween this year, Ciara and Russell Wilson drew inspiration from hip hop’s power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z! In a series of photos uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday, October 29, the couple referenced The Carters’ 2018 music video “APESH*T.”
In the photos, Ciara, 34, rocked a pink blazer and styled her hair similar to Bey’s, 38, famous half up and half down hairstyle. As for Russell, 30, he sported a blue tuxedo, which was similar to the one Jay, 49, wore for the video. Keeping the caption short and sweet, Ciara wrote, “Jay & Bey.”
The couple also surprised fans with their own version of the music video. Ciara and Russell appeared in a mock Louvre museum setting. Instead of standing behind the Mona Lisa portrait like The Carters did, Ciara and Russell opted for a portrait of Michelle and Barack Obama.
Russell and Ciara are not the only members of the Wilson family to get into the Halloween spirit. On Tuesday, October 29, Ciara shared pictures of her daughter Sienna and son Future dressed as Michael and Janet Jackson. In the adorable photographs, the two siblings rocked all pink outfits and held microphones. Proving that they get it from their mama, Sienna, 2, and Future, 5, showcased their best dance moves as they lip synced to Jackson 5’s “ABC.”

On Friday, October 25, Ciara celebrated her 34th birthday. In honor of her special day, Russell threw a yacht dinner. “Exactly where I wanted to be on my B Day! Babe, you’re the best planner! You’re always so thoughtful. Being in your arms is all I need! Truly grateful. #BirthdayLove,” she wrote as her caption.
In addition to hosting the special dinner, Russell posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to his wife.
“Since the moment I met you you’ve gifted me with nothing but Love, Joy, Peace, and 2 Beautiful Children. No gift is worth as much as the Eternal Gift of Love that you have given me and our family. Daddy Loves You. Happy Birthday Baby. I Love You to Heaven and Back. @Ciara,” he wrote.
