Cissy Houston Can’t Visit Bobbi Kristina Brown Due To Health Issues, Speaks To Granddaughter On Phone From New Jersey

As Bobbi Kristina Brown’s health crisis appears to be worsening, her grandmother Cissy Hosuton remains unable to visit the 22-year-old in Georgia due to her own health issues.

A source speaking with Us Weekly said that Cissy, who is the mother of Bobby Kristina’s late mother, Whitney Houston, is unable to leave her New Jersey home to travel to see Bobbi Kris.

But even though her health is keeping her from making the trip, the source said that Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Pat Houston is making sure Cissy remains updated on the situation.

The source added that Pat is also placing the phone up to Bobbi Kristina’s ear whenever Cissy calls in order for her grandmother to speak to her.

Bobbi Kristina’s family has been visiting the center frequently as well, with her dad Bobby Brown spending much of the past few weeks with his daughter. However, he returned to California after the Fourth of July weekend to prepare for the birth of his and his wife Alicia Etheredge's baby daughter, who they welcomed on July 9.
