A first kiss is a memorable experience...or a macabre one, if you’re Cole Sprouse. The Riverdale star, 26, revealed that his first kiss happened in the back of a hearse.
In a video for W Magazine accompanying the August 2019 issue’s cover story, Cole kissed and told.
The lucky girl was named Charlene. Cole recalled, “Her father was an offbeat man. He was an avid Hot Wheels collector but then he also owned a hearse and he was part of this hearse club which is probably where my dark sense of humor comes from.”
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star sat in the “area of the casket” and made “scary ghoulish faces” to cars that passed by with Charlene.
When they “pecked on the lips, it was just lightning in a bottle." "I got the kiss of death,” Cole recalled and laughed at the memory.
Cole shared the W Magazine cover story with Lili Reinhart, who reportedly split up in July after dating for two years.
The magazine cover debuted a few days after the breakup rumors started swirling and the actors used it as an opportunity to promote the interview. Whether or not Cole and his Riverdale costar, 22, are still dating is unclear, but meeting up in a hearse may help.
