Now that we've seen the best of the fan reactions to the announcement that Colton Underwood will be the next Bachelor, here's was his ex Tia Booth had to say about it. Tia responded to the news that Colton would be the Bachelor, and she's more supportive than you'd think.
“Congratulations @Colt3FIVE," Tia tweeted. "I hope your season is full of protein powder, puppies, and naps!” Her reaction is surprising given the two just dated on Bachelor in Paradise.
For fans thinking Tia will give Colton another shot at love on national television, the answer is no. "And NO I will NOT be a contestant on Colton’s season," she added. "Lord bless."
Tia sounds more supportive than a lot of Bachelor fans. When Colton broke the news on Good Morning America that he'd be the new Bachelor, people online were outraged. "Picked someone who hasn't been able to make up his mind the last few months...good choice," someone wrote. "I feel like he’ll choose no one at the end or choose one and change his mind right after, which would be even worse," another viewer added.

Colton made waves on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette when he admitted to her that he was still a virgin at 26. She ended up sending him home after hometown visits.
Colton also had a controversial run on Bachelor in Paradise when he couldn't make up his mind about dating Tia, who he's been on-again/off-again with for months.
