Jessa Duggar filmed a birth special for Counting On after welcoming her daughter Ivy Jane on May 26. The biggest surprise in the episode was Jill appeared frequently in front of the cameras! As Counting On fans know, Jill quit the show after TLC fired her husband Derick Dillard in November 2017 for tweeting transphobic remarks about Jazz Jennings.
During the episode Jill, 28, went to Jessa, 26, and her husband Ben Seewald’s house after her water broke. Jill told cameras, “Getting ready to go over to the big house Jim Bob and Michelle’s because she wants to try and make contractions happen.”
Jessa revealed the whole family was out of town and she wasn’t expecting to give birth for another week.
“I think we might deliver in a little bit,” Jill announced as Jessa’s contractions picked up.

Ivy’s mom eventually gave birth on the couch but suffered a lot of bleeding. Jill advised, “Let’s get 911.”
“I’m an aunt again! It’s exciting,” Jill proudly boasted on the way to meet her sister and brother-in-law at the hospital. Jessa was cleared by her doctors and the couple returned to their home after the hospital visit.
During the entire birthing ordeal, Jill assisted Jessa and Ben and Derick, 30, was noticeably absent. The rest of the Duggar family flew in to meet Ivy later in the evening.
