Jessa Duggar Says Breastfeeding Is Her Newborn Daughter's 'God-Designed' Pacifier

Jessa Duggar posted a photo on Instagram of her newborn daughter, Ivy Jane, using a pacifier and it sparked backlash from mommy shamers! The Counting On mom clapped back and revealed her baby only uses one occasionally because she gives her daughter “constant access” to her boobs.
“I pretty much only give Ivy Jane a pacifier for car rides,” Jessa, 26, told her followers on July 11.
Presumably, the Counting On mom added the caption to avoid scrutiny from mommy shamers.
One fan questioned, “Can I ask why you don’t give it to her any other time??”

Jessa revealed, “I always nurse my babies on demand, so she has constant access to the ‘pacifier’ God designed.”
“I am her pacifier,” the mom-of-three declared. “I prefer it that way too.”
Jessa added, “Nursing isn’t only for food, but for comfort and Mama’s closeness.”
