PHOTOSCT Posts Heartfelt Tribute For The Late Diem Brown On Instagram: ‘You Are The Love Of My Life’

Family, friends and fans said goodbye to Diem Brown in New York City on Tuesday. The MTV reality star passed away on Friday after her long battle with cancer.
As loved ones honored the late reality star at her funeral service and through social media, her ex-boyfriend Chris “CT” Tamburello shared an emotional tribute on Instagram.
“You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We’ve been thru so much over the years,” he captioned a photo of Diem’s mass card and rosary beads. “Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other. Our plan to be together forever hasn’t changed…it’s just going to take a little longer now.”
The caption continued, “And I’m going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again. So don’t worry mama, I’m not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever.”

The duo met on the 13th season of The Challenge in 2006 after Diem beat ovarian cancer for the first time. They then began to date on and off, but remained friends after they called it quits for good.
CT has supported Diem through her battle with the disease. When Diem was diagnosed with cancer for the third time in September, CT posted a photo of the couple sleeping in the hospital while holding hands. “Sometimes just being there for someone can be the difference between a good and bad day,” he captioned the photo. “@diembrowncould definitely use a few… Please go to her support page: www.medgift.com/diemsnextchallenge #medgift,” he wrote.
