Abby Lee Miller is working hard to get back on her feet. Less than a year after her cancer diagnosis and health crisis, the Dance Moms Resurrection star used Instagram to document a recent physical therapy session and her journey back to the dance floor.
In the clip, the 52-year-old stood in front of her wheelchair as she made classic ballet arm movements.
“Back to dancing, one step at a time,” she wrote in the caption. “Port de bras,” she added, referring to the hand and arm motions by name.
Her fans flooded her comments sections with messages of love and support. “You are amazing and an inspiration for cancer survivors like me!” one person told her.

Abby has been open about her road to recovery following the emergency surgeries and chemotherapy treatment she received in the wake of her April 2018 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosis. However, earlier this month, a surprise trailer for the upcoming season of Dance Moms teased an even more candid look into that harrowing time period.
“In an instant, your life changes completely,” she admitted at the start of the trailer.
During another scene, the tearful ALDC founder said, “I was ready to go back to work and start my life over and now I can’t even walk.”
