Demetria McKinney recently knocked rumors that she was fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but the reality TV newbie may still be parting ways with the show if one of her latest Instagram posts is any hint.
As she continues to celebrate her new record deal with eOne Music, the singer and actress took to the Gram to share just how much her life has changed in the past few years in a cute photo collage.
However, it was the collage’s caption that has many now wondering if McKinney is trying to tease her departure from RHOA.
"#Growth! I loved #HouseOfPayne , definitely learned a lot with #RHOA, and I'm looking forward to my music career since signing with @eone_music, the#pepsifunkfest2015 , the @rkelly tour, and the shows on the horizon! Thank u all for growing with me!,” she captioned the post. But it was her inclusion of the fact that she “learned a lot” while on RHOA that sounds as though she may be leaving the series after just one season on the show.

McKinney has made it known that her music career trumps any of her other projects. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if she decided to ditch the show now that she has secured a record deal and continues to perform during music events and her own solo shows.
We are likely still several months away from Bravo revealing which RHOA cast members will be sticking around for the show’s upcoming eighth season, and McKinney did have quite the standout debut on the series.
But by the looks of things, at least for now, McKinney may soon be trading all her reality TV success to make more time for her music. We’ll just have to wait and see!
