Awkward! Bachelorette Hannah Brown asked Tyler Cameron out after things went bad with her ex-fiancée Jed Wyatt, but it turns out her BFF Demi Burnett wanted to date him. The ladies became close friends after vying for former Bachelor Colton Underwood’s heart.
Demi, 24, was a guest on Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky’s podcast Bachelor Happy Hour on July 31. During the episode, Demi gave the former Bachelorettes an update about her BFF Hannah and shocked listeners by confessing she had a crush on Tyler.
“Tyler, the second I saw him announced for the cast I was like ‘He is so hot,’” Demi told Rachel, 34, and Ali, 34. “‘He’s gonna kill it this season,’” Demi thought at the time.
Demi admitted, “And I told Hannah at one point, ‘Save him for me.’”
“Obviously she didn’t,” Demi joked. As Bachelorette fans know, Hannah, 24, asked out Tyler, 26, during part two of the finale on July 30.

Tyler later took to Instagram and admitted he was “looking forward to that drink.”
Although Demi had her eyes on Hannah’s ex, she’s always had the best intentions for her friend. In an earlier episode, Demi exposed the fact that contestant Scott had a girlfriend when he entered the show and The Bachelorette promptly sent him home.
Demi will now be fighting for love on the new season of Bachelor In Paradise premiering on August 5. In the trailer, she is shown having a romance with John Paul Jones, Dereck Peth, and a mystery girl.
