Demi Lovato celebrated her birthday with fellow popstar Ariana Grande and their manager Scooter Braun! The Thank U, Next singer had a concert in London on August 19 and honored the birthday girl, who turned 27 on August 20, before she went on stage. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer has officially distanced herself from former BFF Taylor Swift who is at war with Scooter.
Demi, 27, shared a video on Instagram of Ariana, 26, their manager Scooter, 38, and Ariana’s backup dancers screaming “Happy Birthday, Demi!”
“This was too sweet not to post,” Demi captioned the clip. “Before show prayer they did this for my bday. I’m so so proud of you @arianagrande. You f**king killed that!!! I love you tons.”
Demi documented her whole time at the concert on her Instagram Story. She jammed out to Ariana and even joined fans near the stage to dance!
After the concert was over Demi and Ariana continued the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer’s birthday celebrations. Demi shared another video from when she blew out her birthday candles. “They literally filmed/sang happy birthday twice and @scooterbraun STILL forgot to press record @arianagrande’s face is everything,” she said.
“This video is a perfect glimpse of how f**king happy and rad my birthday is this year. So so happy. And I love my new family. Thank you guys, love you,” she added.
As fans know, Scooter became Demi’s manager in May. Demi used to be BFF’s with Taylor, but when the “Lover” singer waged war with Scooter in June for purchasing the record label that owned all her past work Demi sided with her manager.
The “Sober” singer seemed especially thankful to celebrate another birthday following her near-fatal overdose last July. “Only few know how much this cake means to me… thank you, Scooter. So grateful,” she wrote alongside a picture of her birthday cake.”
