Jill, 27, posted this photo showing off her hubby’s thoughtful gift. The father of two sent her a bouquet of roses and a card — but that wasn’t all he did!
Inside the card, Derick, 29, wrote, “If I loved you to the moon and back when I first knew you :) then I love you to the stars and back now! P.S. Look under my trumpet on the piano :).”
In addition to the card that came with the flowers, Derick also planted a love letter for Jill to find in the house! He planned out his surprise a week ahead of time.

Followers often criticize Jill for giving Derick too much credit for too little, but even they were impressed with Derick’s Valentine’s Day gesture.
“So thoughtful and sweet!! He is definitely a keeper ❤️,” one fan wrote. “Awe...so romantic and loving! ??,” said another.
While Jill and Derick celebrated Valentine’s Day with each other, they ditched her family’s massive Valentine’s Day party earlier in the week. Even Jill’s rarely seen brother Josh attended.
When asked where Jill was, her sister Jana told a fan she had “prior commitments.”
