They no longer have their own show but Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are getting another baby—as in another child to add to their growing brood!
According to a report in Life & Style, Michelle, 49, and Jim Bob, 50, are planning to have another kid, but this time they’ll adopt!
“They’ve been mulling it over for a long time, and they feel the time is right to get legal advice and get the process underway,” an insider said, adding they are looking to adopt in 2016.

The report went on to say that Michelle “doesn’t care if they adopt a boy or a girl, or what ethnicity” because she “just wants to help a child’s life.”
While the Duggars said in 2011 that they were done expanding their family following a miscarriage, Jim and Michelle were reportedly inspired to adopt since they helped Todd and Barbara McCoskey, of The 5 Day Adoption fame, get a child of their own.

But an insider told Life & Style that the Duggars’ plans to adopt may be a means to “help repair their image” to “get them back on TV” after countless scandals that resulted in their show, 19 Kids And Counting, getting cancelled.
“They’re a desperate family who want to stay in the spotlight,” a source told the magazine.
