Duggars Accused Of Faking Conservative Views For TV!

With Duggar children breaking their family’s “rules” left and right these days, fans are no longer convinced the TV family is as strict as they seem. After being on TV for nearly a decade, viewers have started to question what was real and what was fake when it comes to the Duggar’s conservative lifestyle.
As OK! readers’ know, the Duggar family abides by many rules. While some align with their religious beliefs, other rules are Duggar specific -- like the Duggar side-hug for instance. However, some people are wondering if they actually practice what they preach.
“In the past, I shrugged off the suggestion that the Duggars are secretly normal and only keep up a fundie appearance to make money, but recently I'm starting to think there could be some truth to it,” a fan wrote on a Duggar Reddit thread.
“The entire Duggar brand is ‘look how conservative we are! Aren't we weird!’ Yet, they seem to be getting less and less conservative,” they added. “When their specials first aired, their modesty standard included not showing collar bones. They had no computer, tv, or cell phones. Now, all of the older kids have cell phones and laptops. They are dressing in modest but stylish clothes.”

As Duggar fans know, many of the Duggar children have turned from the family’s strict rules over the last few months.
Jill and Jinger are both wearing pants, despite their family’s alleged strict knee-length skirts and dresses policy. That’s not all, Jill even recently got a nose piercing, which really shocked fans. And you can’t forget about Joy-Anna. There have been rumors that the newlywed had a shotgun wedding, even though the Duggar family has a rule about waiting to have sex until marriage.
