Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would like some peace and quiet, especially while away on his honeymoon with Lauren Hashian. When the owner of Hanalei Northside Grill shut down their restaurant so the newlyweds could have a relaxing date night, the Ballers star, 47, was thrilled by their kind gesture.
The Hobbs & Shaw star took to Instagram to express his gratitude on August 27. “Lil’ kooky things these days in my life that makes this moment wildly surreal,” he began his lengthy caption.
He continued, “Been decades (literally since the late 90’s) I was able to sit in the middle of a restaurant undisturbed, eat, have drinks, watch TV’s above the bar and just relax and enjoy company. Hell, I was even able to look down on the roads below and people watch as they walked thru town, in a non creepy, but sorta creepy way of course.”
The Hawaiian restaurant accommodated the newlyweds and gave them a moment of solace to step away from the spotlight for a relaxing meal.

“Grateful mahalo to our friends at #HanaleiNorthsideGrill for quietly shutting down their spot so I could have some honeymoon time with @laurenhashianofficial.” The social media update featured a picture of the lovebirds sitting across from each other as they beamed over delicious food.
The Skyscraper star concluded the post with, “I’ll never complain about fame, because the alternative is going back to those $7bucks days, but every once in a blue moon it’s really nice steal a moment in public like this.”
The Rock married longtime girlfriend Lauren on August 18 in a picturesque ceremony during a gorgeous sunset.
