Eddie Murphy Wants Zero Contact With The Daughter He Shares With Mel B

Eddie Murphy won’t be getting any acknowledgments on Father’s Day from Mel B, that’s for sure! As her custody battle over her three kids heats up with estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, it’s been revealed the comedian wants nothing to do with the daughter he shares with Mel, Angel Iris Murphy Brown!
Stephen’s lawyer Grace Jamra told courts she’s been trying to reach out to Eddie to discuss Stephen being Angel’s step parent, as he says Angel “called me dad since she started to talk.”
Eddie and Mel B’s relationship has been far from smooth sailing, as he denied he was Angel’s daughter when Mel B gave birth to her in 2007, resulting in a paternity battle.
Though she and Eddie had been in a relationship months prior, Eddie at the time told a Dutch TV show, “I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.” He eventually took a DNA test, and it confirmed he is Angel’s father.

“Mr Murphy has had no contact with the child,” Jamra told the court, adding that she had tried to serve Murphy with legal papers but “Mr. Murphy is avoiding service.”
