Fans Troll Jill Duggar Over Her ‘Gross’ Italian Chicken Recipe
Sept. 18 2018, Updated 3:22 p.m. ET
Jill Duggar shared an “Italian Chicken” recipe on her blog over the weekend, and followers were quick to slam the former Counting On star’s recipe as “gross” and “unhealthy.” Click through to see what the trolls had to say.
Jill posted a pic of her Italian chicken, made with chicken breast potatoes, and canned green beans. Fans weren’t impressed. “Looks gross. That is not Italian whatsoever. And canned green beans are just nasty. Haven’t you ever heard of a fresh vegetable or too cheap to buy it?” one fan slammed the mom of two.
“I don’t understand why she thinks she’s a good cook? I’m sorry, but most of these recipes are gross and not that healthy,” said another.
Some defended Jill, saying, “Ummm it says right on the recipe to use canned, fresh, or frozen green beans. As in, whichever you like. Sounds like you were never taught to read, and also how to be a decent human being.”

Jill often takes to her blog to share recipes, and she usually advertises them on her Instagram. It seems some fans are growing tired of the self-promotion. “Jill why do you feel the need to post everything online? Honestly you are coming off as desperate for attention,” one fan commented.
Jill actively updates her blog, and she previously teamed up with FabFitFun to do an Instagram promotion. Some fans wondered if she’s trying to make extra money to help pay for her husband Derick Dillard’s law degree, after his Twitter antics got the family kicked off Counting On.
