Five Stars Who Are FREAKING OUT Over Ryan Seacrest's New Gig

Let's start off with the man himself, Ryan Seacrest. The 42-year-old TV producer and host just landed the job as Kelly Ripa's cohost on Live With Kelly! in New York City. Ryan must be jumping for joy since this gig caused him to cash in a cool $73 million!

Unfortunately, his new colleague isn't too happy. Apparently, Kelly preferred a cohost that isn't so well-known — someone who she can boss around. But hiring Ryan was “ultimately ABC president Ben Sherwood’s call.”

Since Kelly's original cohost Michael Strahan left Live! last year, she's been hosting the show on her own or having guest stars like Andy Cohen temporarily step in. But, unfortunately, Andy didn't win over the execs' hearts enough to land a permanent spot.

Since ratings for KUWTK have dropped, Kris Jenner has been worried sick. And now that Ryan's got a new gig, she's in shambles. “She didn’t find out until the deal was already done,” a Kardashian family source told RadarOnline. “Kris really wishes Ryan would have had a conversation with her about it before signing on to Live! Kris is just really hurt right now, because she feels like he betrayed her.”
