Jules Wainstein, who appeared on season 8 of The Real Housewives of New York City, was arrested on February 23 for battery after reportedly punching her estranged husband, Michael, in the face. Michael appeared in court on February 24 when she was released.
Jules was booked into Palm Beach County Main Detention Center at 3:49 pm on Sunday. The former RHONY star was arrested for battery by way of “touch or strike,” according to booking records obtained by OKMagazine.com.
The mom-of-two was released on Monday at 12:26 pm and will be arraigned on March 16.
Jules’ victim was reportedly her ex Michael. “This is a serious situation reflecting Ms. Wainstein’s increasingly reckless behavior that unfortunately took place in front of the kids,” Michael’s attorney, Morghan Richardson, told Page Six. “The children were released to Michael’s custody yesterday and he is most concerned about protecting them. Michael is exploring all of his legal options at this time.”

Jules and her estranged husband have been battling out since 2016. Michael filed for divorce after 8 years of marriage and two children, Rio and Jagger. Since then, the two have fought about child and spousal support.
Amid their nasty divorce, the former RHONY star moved to Florida. “Until my divorce is over, I’m temporarily living in Boca at my parents’, which actually happened to be a nice thing because unfortunately my father just recently passed away,” she told Bravo in October 2019.
Jules is the third RHONY star to be arrested in Palm Beach. Luann de Lesseps was arrested in December 2017. The Bravo star struck a plea deal in July 2018 and pleaded guilty to battery, trespassing, and disorderly intoxication. As part of her plea deal, she was placed on probation for one year, ordered to pay fines, attended AA meetings, performed 50 hours of community service, and submitted to random drug and alcohol testing.
Tinsley Mortimer was arrested in April 2016 for trespassing her former boyfriend Alexander “Nico” Fanjul’s home in Palm Beach. The charges were dismissed in December 30.
