Francia Raisa recently broke the ice and reached out to Selena Gomez on social media following their yearlong feud. The two stopped speaking after an alleged disagreement over the singer's lifestyle choices following her kidney transplant surgery, but her donor bestie seemingly waved the white flag on Instagram on Thursday, November 7.
Selena, 27, posted a photo of herself and her little sister Gracie, 5, on the red carpet at the Frozen 2 premiere. "Hope I’m officially the best big sissy ever now ... she was LIVING her best life!! Frozen 2 was amazing!!!" the "Lose You To Love Me" songstress captioned the snapshot. "Omg! My heart right now," Francia, 31, wrote in the comments section on the post.
Fans were quick to pick up on the fact Selena and the Grown-ish star were communicating again. "Friends again, I'm gonna cry," one of Selena's followers wrote. "Are you guys back to being close? It's nice to see you can make it through the hard times," another added.
Francia made the selfless decision to donate a kidney to Selena amid her battle with lupus in 2017. Selena credited the actress with saving her life in interviews, but their friendship reportedly deteriorated when they had an argument over Selena's lifestyle choices in the wake of her surgery.

"Selena did the exact opposite of what she said she was going to do when she got well again. She said she was not going to drink anymore," a source told RadarOnline.com at the time. "Francia called Selena out on it because she cares about her and she loves her. She told her that she was just really making some unhealthy choices and that she was concerned for her. Selena just shut her out," the source added.
According to the outlet, the former Disney star didn't appreciate the concern and was sick of feeling indebted to Francia for giving her a kidney.
"The truth is that Selena was tired of feeling like she owed something to her Francia because she gave her a kidney. This was Francia’s choice; Selena did not steal the kidney from her. Yes, she Selena has some drinks from time to time. It is not every day, and she is not using drugs. She is enjoying herself and she is enjoying her life and living it how she wants to live it," a source explained after their fallout made headlines.
