'Game Of Thrones' Star Kit Harington Checks Into Rehab For Alcohol And Stress

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington secretly checked into rehab weeks before the show's big finale on May 19. The HBO hit's ending "really hit him hard" and he decided to seek help for alcohol and stress. Scroll through for details!

Kit, 32, played main character Jon Snow on the show for all eight seasons since its 2011 premiere.
His rep confirmed reports in a statement to Us Weekly, saying, "Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues."
The British actor has been receiving treatment at a luxury Connecticut facility which reportedly costs $120,000 a month.

The TV star has "been undergoing psychological coaching, practicing mindful meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy to combat stress and deal with negative emotions," Page Six reported.
His wife and Game of Thrones costar Rose Leslie, 32, is said to be "extremely supportive" of his decision to get help.
"The end of Game of Thrones really hit Kit hard … He realized ‘this is it — this is the end,' it was something they had all worked so hard on for so many years. He had a moment of, what next? He’s in the clinic predominantly for stress and exhaustion and also alcohol. His wife Rose is being extremely supportive. Everyone close to him really wanted him to get some rest. Right now, he just needs peace and quiet," the insider told Page Six.
